Beyond "Don't Work for Free!" (PDF)

Beyond “Don’t Work for Free” believes that, as artists, we can protect ourselves AND honor our creative gifts as priceless. This zine of comics and flowcharts shares ways to fight in solidarity for equitable pay, so our labor as cultural workers isn’t unfairly extracted from us. I wanted to explore ways to live into gift ecologies that resist, subvert, and go beyond capitalistic models that train us to commodify our time and labor. This zine was created with micro-grant support from Anticapitalism for Artists.
